GRANT REQUIREMENTS Please read the application and narrative forms carefully. Follow ALL instructions completely.

GEOGRAPHIC LIMITATIONS: Grants are limited to projects directly assisting residents of Broome County and contiguous New York counties. All projects must include or benefit Broome County residents. PROPOSAL NARRATIVE: Complete the narrative form provided. Complete the application form provided. Use 3/4-inch margins and 12-pt. type, single spaced. DO NOT alter the form. Entries found altering the forms and/or disregarding instructions will suffer sever penalties. ATTACHMENTS: Please provide six (6) copies of all applicable items: Project budget; include in-kind contributions and other resources available for the project (one page maximum). Community organization documentation: IRS Tax Exemption Certificate/Letter Current year budget or summary (two-page maximum) Most recent financial statement (only one copy required if a certified audited statement) Most recent annual report Current list of board of directors, with affiliations and a meeting schedule Name and brief description of role by any staff providing supervision for the project GRANT APPLICATION: All proposal submissions should include six (6) collated copies of the following: Application form Narrative form Attachments (listed above) IRS Tax Exemption Certificate/Letter (one copy) DO NOT INCLUDE ANY OTHER MATERIALS with the application unless specifically requested by the Director of Donor Relations and Stewardship.
