Levels of Partnership/Collaboration*

Collaboration: pooled resources (but what each brings to the effort is identifiable); negotiated decision-making; some shared goals and some separate goals

Cooperation: help each other attain their own goals (though there may be some commonality)

Networking: Sharing information; few or no common resources; little or no shared decision-making; informal agreements
